Milton Harms is the founder and managing director of Romar Freezone NV. He oversees the re-export of duty-free items, such as liquor, across a zone spanning Panama, Curaçao, and Aruba. Since 1988, he has expanded the company from the ground up and now maintains a 120-strong team. Milton Harms also leads Romar Trading NV and manages one of Aruba’s largest wine and spirits import and distribution operations.

Over the decades, Mr. Harms has been involved in the acquisition and integration of related companies, such as Heineken Aruba NV, Licores Aruba NV, and Unisales NV. Additionally, as the managing director of Bejumied Holding NV, he oversees a company operated in partnership with the Moravian Church Foundation. Bejumied Holding operates Hertz Car Rental franchises across the islands of Bonaire, Curaçao, and Aruba, as well as auto dealerships offering models from GM, Hyundai, Nissan, BMW, and Kia.

Mr. Harms earned his BS in management from Bryant University and subsequently completed an MBA at the University of Edinburgh. He is active in several professional organizations, including the International Association of Airport and Duty Free Stores. He also volunteers with the Rotary Club of Aruba.
